At Chase Custom, we are committed to providing high-quality digital services to our clients. These Terms of Business govern the relationship between Chase Custom ("we", "us", "our") and the client ("you", "your"). By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by the terms set out below.
1. Scope of Services
Chase Custom provides digital services including, but not limited to:
- Website Design — fully customised website builds tailored to your requirements.
- Email and Website Hosting — secure hosting services for websites and business email.
- Social Media Management — ongoing management of social media accounts.
- Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Advertising — campaign management for platforms such as Google Ads and Bing Ads.
- Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) — on-site and off-site SEO services.
- Graphic Design — provided only as part of website design or social media management projects.
Note: Graphic design is not offered as a standalone service.
2. Payment Terms
2.1 Build Fees
A 50% deposit is required before work begins. The remaining 50% is payable upon completion. A project is deemed complete once agreed deliverables are provided or approval is given.
2.2 Monthly Services
Fees for ongoing services (including hosting, SEO, and social media management) are payable via automatic collection or invoice within 7 days of the invoice date.
2.3 Late Payments
If payment is not received within 28 days of the due date, services may be suspended without notice. Accounts unpaid for 6 months or more will be terminated and may result in permanent loss of hosted websites, data, or domains.
3. Cancellation and Refund Policy
3.1 Cancellation
Services may be cancelled with 30 days' written notice.
3.2 Refunds
No refunds are provided for build fees once work has commenced, including deposits and completed projects.
3.3 Ownership
All websites, designs, code, and development work remain the intellectual property of Chase Custom unless otherwise agreed in writing. Admin access is not provided except where required for blog or eCommerce functionality.
3.4 Domain Ownership
Domains purchased on your behalf remain your property and may be transferred provided no outstanding balances exist.
4. Project Timelines and Revisions
4.1 Timescales
Typical build times range from 3–7 days, subject to project complexity and client responsiveness.
4.2 Client Responsibilities
Delays in providing feedback, approvals, or content may extend project timelines.
4.3 Revisions
Unlimited revisions are offered on a fair-use basis, limited to a maximum of five (5) rounds. Additional revisions may incur extra charges.
5. Legal and Compliance Responsibility
Chase Custom does not provide legal advice. While basic compliance templates may be implemented at your request, you remain solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, including GDPR and data protection legislation.
6. Suspension and Termination
6.1 Suspension
Accounts overdue by 14 days or more may be suspended without notice.
6.2 Termination
Accounts unpaid for 6 months or more will be terminated. Associated websites, emails, and data may be permanently deleted without liability.
7. Limitation of Liability
Chase Custom does not guarantee uninterrupted service availability. Temporary interruptions may occur due to maintenance, third-party issues, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for fraud, payment processing issues, data loss, or unauthorised transactions involving third-party payment systems. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
8. Third-Party Software, Platforms and Services
Chase Custom has no obligation to support, maintain, update, repair, or guarantee any third-party software, plugins, platforms, APIs, integrations, hosting services, or external tools unless expressly agreed in writing prior to commencement. We make no warranties regarding availability, reliability, security, legality, compatibility, or continuation of third-party services. Use of such services is entirely at the client's own risk. No ongoing support for third-party systems is provided unless covered by a separate written agreement.
9. Geographical Scope
Chase Custom provides services exclusively within the United Kingdom.
10. VAT
Chase Custom is not VAT-registered. No VAT will be charged on invoices.
11. Amendments
Chase Custom reserves the right to amend these Terms of Business at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
